Bears Will Represent Japan

JapChampsThe Japanese national championship tournament concluded in early July as Adachi Gauken Junior High School Wild Bears from Adachi-ku, Tokyo, qualified for New Orleans. They will compete at the FFWC for the first time.

Second Round:

Semi Final:
51-0 vs. Waseda Jitsugyo Junior High School
Final:
14-13 vs Fujitsu Junior Frontiers (defending Japanese champion who won 3rd place in the FFWC 2006)
